CEDAR FALLS, Iowa- UNI softball wins fall game against Indian Hills.
Northern Iowa vs. Indian Hills | Final Score - W, 14-10
Erica Oler started in the circle for the Panthers and pitched four innings. Oler gave up nine runs through the first four innings. Samantha Heyer, Hannah Kelley, and Madison Parks also pitched for the Panthers. Indian Hills would only score one run in the last six innings played.
On offense, the Panthers scored 14 runs on 16 hits. The majority of the Panther offense was produced in the first three innings.
The offense exploded in the bottom of the first after allowing the Warriors to score three in the top of the inning. UNI scored 10 runs in the first three innings.
Six of the Panther's runs came from a Sammey Bunch two run home run and a grand slam by Kamryn Shaffer.
