Men's Basketball Defeat the Vicenza All-Stars 101-64

VICENZA, Italy - The Northern Iowa men's basketball team continued their impressive shooting in the second game of the Italian tour.
UNI made 15 three point shots for the second consecutive game in route to a 101-64 win over Vicenza All-Stars. Spencer Haldeman led the Panthers in scoring with 18 points, connecting on six three point shots. Two other Panthers scored in double figures, Shandon Goldman's scored 17 points utilizing his balanced inside/outside attack and freshman Noah Carter finished with 13 points, all in the second half. Freshman Antwan Kimmons scored 10 points while AJ Green and Austin Phyfe poured in eight points apiece.
Now 2-0 on the Italian tour, the team will travel to Florence, Italy on Monday, August 5. While in Florence the team plans to go on a walking tour of the city before loading the bus for Rome on Tuesday, August 6.
