Men's Basketball Defeat Baskethood 108-75

MAZZANO, Italy – The UNI men's basketball team got off to a good start Saturday night, defeating Baskethood 108-75 in the first game of their Italian tour.
The Panthers took control of the game with hot shooting and great inside play in the first half. The Panther offense made eight three pointers and scored 28 points in the paint to take a 60-32 lead into halftime.
The Panthers picked up right where the left off in the second half. UNI hit another seven three pointers and had a balanced attack to defeat Baskethood 108-75. The Panthers had seven players score double digits, led by Spencer Haldeman with 16 points. AJ Green and Noah Carter both finished with 13 points. Isaiah Brown and Antwan Kimmons has 12 points each. Austin Phyfe and Just Dahl had 11 points and 10 points respectively.
UNI connected on 15 of their 25 three point attempts.
The Panthers will travel to Venice, Italy on Sunday, August 4 for a boat tour before playing their second game of the tour in Vicenza, Italy.
