Lohaus Named First Team Scholar Athlete

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – Senior Wyatt Lohaus earns First Team scholar Athlete honors after posting a 3.89 GPA in Movement and Exercise Science.
This is the first time Lohaus has been named to the first team, as a sophomore he earned second team honors and earned honorable mention honors as a junior.
Nominees must be starters or important reserves with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average. Nominees in grad school must have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or better both as an undergrad and in graduate school. Nominees must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at an institution and must have completed at least one calendar year at the institution.
Voting was conducted by the league's sports information directors.
Lohaus has been on the Panther basketball team for five years, making two NCAA Tournaments and winning two MVC Tournament Championships. During the 2018-19 season Lohaus played in all 31 games and received 25 starts. Lohaus averages 9.6 points per game and shot 40.9 percent from the field.
