UNI Women Travel to Missouri State, Southern Illinois

The UNI women are coming off the most dominant Missouri Valley Conference win in program history Sunday and have won four of the last five games as they head on the road for the final time this season. Â The Panthers defeated Evansville 95-46 after hitting 15 three-pointers.Â
UNI takes looks to avenge a 63-48 loss against Missouri State at home on Feb. 3. The Panthers and Bears take the court 7 p.m. CT Friday before UNI travels to Southern Illinois for a game 2 p.m. Sunday.
Karli Rucker leads the way for UNI at 14.3 points per game, and Ellie Howell averages 10.6 PPG. Bre Gunnels leads the Panthers in rebounding with 4.8 RPG.
Three Missouri State players average double figures led by Danielle Gitzen with 12.4 points per game. The Bears are 17-8 overall and 13-1 in conference. They are 8-3 at home so far this season. In the first meeting, the Bears took a late lead en route to the five-point win.Â
Southern Illinois is 13-12 on the year and 6-8 in league. The Salukis are led by Nicole Martin and Makenzie Silvey who average 14.6 and 14.5 PPG respectively.Â
Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
