
Two UNI Soccer Players Receive MVC Honors

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - UNI Women's Soccer's Jordyn Rolli has been named Second Team All-Conference for the 2019 season, along with Lizzie Mewes named All-Freshman for the 2019 season.
Rolli was this year's leading scorer, with 6 goals, taking the lone goal against Iowa early in the season. She was tied for second in most assists on the season with 3 assists against Chicago, South Dakota, and North Dakota State. She led the team this season with 15 points, taking 33 shots, 12 being on goal.
Mewes began her collegiate career with her first goal against St. Ambrose, aiding in a 6-0 lead. She scored her second goal against Missouri State, the only goal of the game. Mewes totals 5 points on the season, taking 19 shots, 10 being on goal.
