UNI Women's Soccer Awarded United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The UNI women's soccer team recently received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2018-2019 academic year.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of college soccer teams in which student athletes show their dedication to excellence through their studies throughout an academic year.
UNI was one of 695 women's teams to be awarded.
To receive this award, a team is expected to complete the year on a 3.0 or higher average GPA. The Panthers finished the year off with an average GPA of 3.38.
"We are proud of the work our players put in by excelling in the classroom. This group of players past and present continue to strive for the very best in their studies and the results of that academic awards like this." said head coach Bruce Erickson.
