THE SERIES
The Panthers hold a 52-26 series lead over the Bears of Missouri State. The two MVC powerhouse programs have traded win streaks with the Panthers winning twelve of thirteen matches in a row from 2009 to 2015 while Missouri State went on a six-match win streak from 2015 to 2017. Â
The Panthers and Salukis will meet up for the seventy-second time on Saturday. The Panthers hold a 58-13 series record over the Salukis highlighted by a 41 match win streak from 1993 to 2012. The Panthers are currently on a five-match win streak, last falling to Southern Illinois on September 23, 2016.

 • The Panthers opened MVC play with three victories, defeating Evansville (9/27) and Indiana State (9/28) and Valparaiso (9/30).
• Senior libero, Abbi Staack has earned back to back MVC DefenÂsive Player of the Week honors, Sept 23 and Sept 30.
• Bobbi Petersen closes in on 500 career victories, just 6 wins away from the historic mark.
• Karlie Taylor continues to rise up the career kills leaderboard, ranking 6th with 1,415 career kills.
• Rachel Koop currently ranks 10th in career assists with 2,199.

• Rachel Koop returns to set the Panther offense after averaging 11.97 assists per set in 2018, leading the conference and ranking 5th nationally. Rachel Koop ranks 10th in career assists per set with a 9.19 average.
• Karlie Taylor returns for her senior season after recording 4.77 kills per set in 2018, ranking 6th nationally. Karlie Taylor ranks 2nd all-time at UNI in kills per set with a career average of 3.86.
• Taylor is the only player in UNI history to record multiple 500 kill seasons.
