Panther Volleyball Takes Bradley in Four Sets

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI volleyball team took on the Bradley Braves in MVC action on Friday night, defeating their conference foe 3-1 with set scores of 25-18, 22-15, 25-19, 25-18.
The Panthers finished with a .212 hitting percentage while holding the Braves to just .110 as a team. Both teams recorded 11 total blocks on the night with UNI's Kate Busswitz recording 4 solo blocks.
Karlie Taylor and Kate Busswitz each finished the night with 14 kills with Busswitz finishing with a .275 hitting percentage, the highest among players with at least 5 kills. Karlie Taylor continued to show her versatility, not only leading the Panthers in kills but also in digs, finishing with 19.
Libero Abbi Staack ended the night with 17 digs while Taylor Hedges and Rachel Koop ended the night with 13 and 11 digs respectively. Rachel Koop finished the night with 47 assists (11.75 assists per set) while recording her eleventh double-double of the season.
