Panther Scholarship Club Launches Enhanced Website & New Logo

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa's Panther Scholarship Club is coming off a record-breaking year, and the Panthers will look to surge ahead of that pace with the launch of a new fundraising site – SupportThePanthers.com.
"Our new fundraising site – SupportThePanthers.com – will create an identifiable spot on the web for our supporters to tie into scholarships as well as sport-specific donations," UNI Director of Athletics David Harris said. "We will continue to rely on the PSC, capital projects and sport-specific giving to grow Panther athletics as we embark on our strategic plan."
The new site provides a one-stop shop for supporters to locate information previously not easily accessible. This is the first time UNI has provided this much in-depth information all in a convenient, easy-to-navigate location. Visitors to the site will be able to find materials on scholarships, capital projects, sport-specific giving opportunities and special events like the Women at Play and Rally in the Valley.
Coinciding with the launch of the fundraising site also brings a redesign of the PSC logo.
"With the launch of our new fundraising site, it also allows us to give the PSC logo a cleaner, fresher look to grow the UNI Panther brand," UNI Associate A.D. for External Affairs Nathan Christensen said. "We are looking forward to the new look of Panther giving."
Contributions to the Panther Scholarship Club in 2017 allowed for the fundraising goal to be reached with a total of 1,695 donors and a cash record of $1.52 million during the 2017 year. The record is a 12 percent increase over the previous high set in 2015 and an increase of 14 percent from last year's total. It was also a record for a total combined cash and gift-in-kind of $2,014,141 raised along with a record of new PSC members, which was 208.
