TULSA, Okla. – UNI wrestling crowned two Panthers Big 12 champions to secure the second-place team finish at the conference tournament Sunday.

No. 7 Taylor Lujan became the first Panther to earn a Big 12 title, beating No. 10 David Kocer of South Dakota State, 6-3. Lujan wrestles at 174 pounds.

No. 11 Drew Foster beat Dylan Gabel of Northern Colorado in a 5-1 decision to win a title at 184 pounds.

All-American No. 7 Max Thomsen fell 9-3 to No. 14 Boo Lewallen of Oklahoma State to take second.

Six Panthers secured trips to the NCAA tournament with automatic bids at the Big 12 Conference Championships today.
