NORMAL, Illinois - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team is in 15th place following the opening two rounds of the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate.
The Panthers shot two-round team scores of 316 and 308 at Weibring Golf Club, placing them ahead of Butler and DePaul.
Jared Rowe lead the way for the Panthers, finishing with a final score of 150. Rowe held an impressive first round as 1-over (72) performance included four birdies.
Sam DeBartolo and Marshal Lamb finished the day with scores of 156 and 159. DeBartolo notched three birdies on the day, earning him a share of 51st place.
Tied for 72nd and 86th place are Parker Oleson and Dayton Federley. Oleson notched a birdie in each round, aiding to his score of 161.
UNI will wrap up the final 18 holes tomorrow.
