THE PANTHERS
• The Panthers are set to take part in the Paradise Jam in the US Virgin Islands over the weekend. The Panthers are scheduled to take on the University of Pennsylvania in the first round on Friday.

• The eight-team tournament has DI teams from all over the country in Penn, Oregon State, Old Dominion, Kennesaw State, Missouri, Eastern Kentucky, Kansas State, and UNI.

• Last season the Panthers went 2-1 in the Battle 4 Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas, defeating SMU and North Carolina State before falling to Villanova.

• With two games under his belt freshman, AJ Green still looks every bit impressive as the hype, recording 33 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals in two games.

• Sophomore Trae Berhow has proven to be a reliable figure on both ends of the court with 15 points and 15 rebounds so far this season.

• Junior Isaiah Brown played in-front of a home crowd last week in Arlington and it seemed to help, scoring 15 points and bringing in 5 rebounds.

Paradise Jam
The Panthers will head to St Thomas, US Virgin Islands this week to take part in the eight-team tournament. This year the Panthers will open the tournament with the University of Pennsylvania on Friday at 4:30 pm CT. The Panthers have made a tropical tournament eight out of the last ten years. Â

UNIV.OF PENN QUAKERS
The Quakers are currently 2-0 on the season with a game against Lafayette on Tuesday prior to their trip to the Virgin Islands. Penn defeated George Madison 72-21 in the team's opener and defeated rice 92-76 last Friday. Penn currently has five players averaging over 9 points per game.

 Forward AJ Brodeur leads the Quakers in scoring and will need to be managed or he can score at will, averaging 21 points a game this season. Not only can AJ score but he also leads the team in rebounds with 16, hauling in 15 defensive rebounds in the first two contest of the season. Guard Davon Goodman can also cause havoc for the Panthers. Goodman has shot 42.9% from the field so far with 24 total points and 7 assists.

The Quakers are led by fourth-year Head Coach John Rockwell. Rockwell led the Quakers to a 2018 Ivy League Conference Championship, finishing the 2017-18 season at 24-9 and 12-2 in league play. The Quakers qualified for the NCAA tournament but took on #1 seed Kansas in the first round, losing 76-60.
