ORLANDO, Fla.-- The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team fell against Navy, 5-2, in action on Tuesday.

Jieke Stroobant and Gisela Kemper nabbed the only singles wins for the Panthers. Stroobant defeated Navy's Kaylah Hodge, 3-6, 7-6, 10-5 (1-0) in the No. 1 spot. Kemper posted a 6-0, 6-4 victory of Aimee Dervishian in the No. 3 spot.

Kemper paired up with Sydney Wolfe to defeat Sabrina Jiang and Rozel Hernandez, 6-4 in the No. 2 doubles spot.

Astrid Santos and Navy's Catalina Rico went all three sets in the No. 2 spot before Rico pulled away. Their set went 7-5, 1-6, 6-0.

Meghan O'Malley defeated Wolfe, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 in the No. 4 spot. Eve Small would fall to Danika Kahatapitiya, 6-0, 6-2. Savanna Hunt fell to Jiang 6-4, 6-0.

The Panthers will continue their stay in Orlando with matches against Fordham and Fairfield at the USTA National Tennis Center in Orlando.
