The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball program will host the Wichita State Shockers and Missouri State Lady Bears for the last regular season games. UNI tips off against Wichita State on Thursday, March 2 and 7 p.m. followed by a Saturday night game against the Lady Bears at 8 p.m. CT.

About the Shockers: Wichita State enters the game against UNI 14-13 overall and 9-7 in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Panthers topped the Shockers to start the MVC season, 63-61 on the road on Jan. 1, but the Shockers have since been able to put a string of winning streaks together, including the three-game winning mark they enter Thursday's game on. The Shockers are led by Rangie Bessard, who is averaging 16.3 points per game, ranking second in the league in scoring.
