Panthers Soccer Ranks at No. 13

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa--The University of Northern Iowa held on to the No. 13 ranking in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll.
The Panthers defeated MVC rival Evansville on Saturday, Sept. 30, 3-1 before capturing their eighth shutout of the season for Senior Night on Oct. 2. The Panthers posted a 3-0 victory over Viterbo.Â
Fellow MVC team Loyola ranks at No. 12 in the poll.Â
In NCAA rankings, the Panthers are in the top-10 in Shutout Percentage at 66.7%. UNI is in the top-10 for Win-Loss-Tie percentage at 87.5%.Â
Individually, Sarah Brandt is in the top-10 for game-winning goals at 4. Jami Reichenberger is tied for the No. 4 spot in shutouts. Reichenberger leads the MVC in that category as well. Brynell Yount is in the top-15 in goals per game, averaging a 0.78.Â
