UNI Takes 6th at Zach Johnson Invitational

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team concluded play at the Zach Johnson Invitational on Tuesday, finishing 6th overall in the 54-hole event.
The Panthers finished round three with a team score of 298 at Glen Oaks Country Club. The Panthers posted a final team score of 904 to finish ahead of Loyola, Western Illinois, Green Bay, Eastern Illinois and North Dakota.
Jared Rowe led the Panthers with a final score of 224, tying for 12th place. The junior shot 3-over par (75) with three birdies in the final round. Rowe tied for the lead in the field on Tuesday by going 3-under on the par fives.
Marshal Lamb was not far behind, tying for 18th overall with a final score of 225. Lamb tallied a trio of birdies on Tuesday.
Sam DeBartolo, who finished tied for 24th place, and Sam Sacquitne, who finished tied for 27th place, both shot 4-over (76) on the day and combined for four birdies in round three.
Parker Oleson shot 11-over (83) on the day, earning him a final score of 242.
UP NEXT
The Panthers travel to Kansas City, Missouri, for the Bill Ross Invitational at the Milburn Country Club on Oct. 9-10.
