
Panthers Travel to South Dakota for Dual Meets

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa---The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team will travel to South Dakota for two meets this weekend.
On Friday, Oct. 27, the Panthers will take on the South Dakota Coyotes for a 5 p.m. meet.
The Panthers meet the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Oct. 28 for a 2 p.m. meet.
Last Time Against South Dakota
The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team defeated the Coyotes in Cedar Falls last season.
Strong performances came from Katie Taylor, Moriah Ross, Crystal Florman, Molly Lembezeder and Rachel Siebenaller as the Panthers won 14 events.

The University of Northern Iowa swam to victory over the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits, 205-94 in Cedar Falls last season.
Taylor, Ross, Lembezeder, Florman and Jordan McCullough all had strong performances for the Panthers, helping to win 13 events.

Weekly Honors
Lembezeder and Izzy Bunchek have been named the MVC Swimmer and Diver of the week, as announced by the Missouri Valley Conference office for the week of Oct. 16th.Â
Lembezeder won three individual events, three relay events and took second place in one individual event against Nebraska and Sioux Falls.

Bunchek qualified for the NCAA zone diving on Saturday against Sioux Falls. On Friday against Nebraska, Bunchek led the Panthers in the 1-meter dives, taking third-place with a score of 242.47.
