UNI Men's Golf Finishes Fourth at Dolenc

MADISON, Ill. - The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team completed the Derek Dolenc Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon, roaring back from ninth to finish fourth.

The Panthers finished strong at Gateway National Golf Links, shooting a team score of 291 in the final round. This matches their low round on the season - shot at the UNO Invitational.

Dustin Atkinson shot lights out for the Panthers Tuesday, shooting a team-best 67, and four-under par with five birdies. This performance is his fifth sub-70 round of his career.

This is the third time Atkinson has matched his career best and propelled him to sixth overall in the tournament. This marks his first top-10 finish of the season, after registering 10 as a junior.

Davis Sutton and Marshal Lamb finished second and third respectively for the Panthers, shooting final rounds of 73 and 74. This was Sutton's second best round of the year, one stroke behind his 72 at the UNO Invitational.
