CHICAGO, Ill. - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team came up on the short end of a 4-3 decision Sunday against the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames.
UIC (5-2 overall) scored wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to secure the doubles point. UNI (1-7 overall) got singles' wins from Jieke Stroobant, Elvira Lopez and Astrid Santos. But UIC was able to score wins at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to win the dual.
