The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball is set to host the Creighton Bluejays on Saturday, Dec. 10 with a 2 p.m. tip. Brad Wells and Elliot Eggleston will be calling the game live on ESPN3.
Game Promotion: Saturday will serve as UNI's Toys for Tots drive. Bring a new, unwrapped gift to receive a $1 ticket to the game. The Panthers will also be signing autographs on the east concourse of the McLeod Center following the game.

About the Bluejays: Creighton enters the game against UNI 4-3 overall and is currently on a three-game winning streak, including a 69-49 win over Big 12 foe Kansas on Nov. 30. The Bluejays have seen similar opponents to UNI's schedule, losing to South Dakota State (63-56) and Wichita State (62-54) to start the season, but then beating Drake 80-77 on Nov. 17. They are being led by Audrey Faber who is averaging 13.7 points per game.
At the Helm: UNI's game against Iowa (12/4) was head coach Tanya Warren's 300th game at the helm. She holds an overall record of 166-134, ranking her second all-time at UNI and is 10th all-time in Valley history.

Success All Around: Newcomer Kennedy Kirkpatrick has quickly proved that she is a versatile player in her first year with the Panthers. Through eight games, she ranks fourth on the team in rebounds (3.0 per game), fourth in assists (1.4 per game), fifth in points (5.6) and fourth in steals (5).
Rebounding Numbers: Senior Hannah Schonhardt has either led or tied for the lead in rebounds in six of UNI's eight games this season. Through eight games, she is averaging 7.4 rebounds (59 total), with 43 of those coming on the defensive end of the court. It gives her 518 rebounds through 106 games, making her just the 19th player in school history to grab 500-plus rebounds in a career. It also ranks her No. 8 all-time in career defensive rebounds with 427.
Moving Up: Madison Weekly has played in 100 games for the Panthers. Through eight games in 2016-17, Weekly has moved up on the career all-times lists at UNI, averaging 16.0 points per game this season.
Consecutive Games: Senior Madison Weekly played in her 100th career game as a UNI Panther against Iowa (12/4). She has played in 90 consecutive games in the Purple and Old Gold and has started in 75 straight.
