The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa football program will will be on the road for two straight weeks, starting off at South Dakota on Saturday, Oct. 8. The game will kick off at 2 p.m. CT.
About the Coyotes: South Dakota enters the game against UNI 1-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play. The Coyotes only win this season came against Weber State, pulling off a 52-49 win. South Dakota opened MVFC play against No. 15 Youngstown State, falling 30-20. Despite the rough start, the Coyotes bring the No. 20-ranked scoring offense to the gridiron on Saturday, led by quarterback Chris Streveler, who is averaging 90.2 yards per game, ranking him No. 28 in the country.

The Panthers posted a 20-7 win with USD only scoring points in the first quarter. Aaron Bailey threw for a career-high 231 yards and a touchdown, adding 44 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown.
Cracking Ranks: With his sack against Southern Illinois (10/1), Karter Schult is ranked No. 4 all-time at UNI in career sacks. He has 7.5 sacks this season and 26.0 in his career at UNI.
