
Missouri Snaps UNI's Win Streak, 7-0

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team saw its two-match win streak snapped on Wednesday as the Missouri Tigers scored a 7-0 win over the Panthers at the Mizzou Tennis Center.
UNI (2-2 overall) came up on the short end of all three doubles matches to start the day. The Panthers's No. 3 doubles team of Gisela Kemper and Sydney Wolfe dropped the closest decision of the day to Kelli Hine and Bea Machado Santos, 6-3.
The Tigers (1-1 overall) continued their winning ways by taking all six singles matches as well. UNI's Erica Medlin pushed Missouri's No. 1 Kelli Hine to a first-set tiebreaker before falling 7-6, 6-1.
UNI will be back in action on Saturday in Iowa City when the Panthers match up against the Iowa Hawkeyes.
