Three UNI Wrestlers Medal at 2014 Cliff Keen

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Three UNI wrestlers medaled at the Cliff Keen Invite Saturday.
Cooper Moore was seeded sixth and grabbed the Panthers' highest finish, taking fourth. Moore had a tough challenge early in the day, losing 13-6 to No. 2 Nick Sulzer of Virginia at 165 pounds. However, Moore bounced back for a chance at third with a win with a 5-1 decision over Peyton Walsh of Navy. He fell to No. 3 Michael Moreno of Iowa State to take fourth.
After a solid first day, 125-pounder Dylan Peters fell to No. 5 Joey Dance of Virginia Tech. He was pinned in 3 minutes, 20 seconds, ending his day at the Cliff Keen. He forfeited his next two matches to finish sixth overall.
Heavyweight Blaize Cabell started the second day with a fall in 3 minutes, 25 seconds over Hofstra's Michael Hughes. However, he lost two close decisions to the No. 11 Nick Tavenello of Ohio State (3-2) and No. 10 Evan Knutson of North Dakota State (4-1) to take eighth.
Jarrett Jensen was knocked out of the 157-pound weight class with a 4-1 loss to No. 20 Justin Staudenmayer of Brown.
The team finished 14th overall with 48.5 points.
