Drake Tops UNI, 5-2

WATERLOO, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to the Drake Bulldogs on Saturday at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
UNI (6-6 overall, 0-1 MVC) got a strong performance from junior Chelsea Moore at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles. Moore notched a 6-0, 6-1 win over Drake's Lea Kozulic at No. 3 singles. Moore also scored an 8-2 win with teammate Jessica King over Drake's Maddie Johnson and Lea Kozulic at No. 2 doubles.
UNI senior Phoebe Walker improved to 16-4 on the season in singles action with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Drake's Klavdija Rebol at No. 1 singles. Junior Krissy Lankelma and Walker came up on the short end of an 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles that would have given UNI the doubles' point.
