UNI Scores 5-2 Win Over Western Illinois

WATERLOO, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team posted a 5-2 win over the visiting Western Illinois Leathernecks on Saturday at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
UNI (3-2 overall) won both at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to secure the doubles point to begin the match.
UNI then captured four of the five contested matches, including the first collegiate singles' victory from senior Lindsay Cayton at No. 4 singles. Cayton scored a 6-2, 6-4 victory over WIU's Holly Conlin.
UNI will take on Augustana (S.D.) on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
NOTES: UNI senior Phoebe Walker picked up her 74th career doubles victory against the Leathernecks ... Walker is 74-31 in doubles in her Panther career ... WIU leads the all-time series, 18-16.
