UNI Moves Into First in MVC With 3-0 Sweep at Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. - The University of Northern Iowa women's volleyball team moved into a tie for first place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with a 3-0 sweep of the Wichita State Shockers on Saturday.
The Panthers tallied a 25-23, 25-21, 25-23 sweep of the Shockers at Koch Arena.
Macy Ubben led the Panthers with 12 kills. Kinsey Caldwell notched a match-high 32 assists. Amie Held posted a match-high 20 digs to help the Panthers to the victory.
UNI moved to 17-6 overall and 9-2 in the MVC play. Wichita State fell to 20-5 overall and 9-2 in league action.
