
Panthers Fall to South Dakota State

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa- The University of Northern Iowa swim and dive team fell to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 139-104 Friday night at the Glen F. Henry pool.
Bethany Hovland earned a victory in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. She scored 238.87 points in the 1-meter and 240.07 points in the 3-meter dive. Sarah Kemp took third in the 1-meter (180.60) and second in the 3-meter (214.57).
Natalie Johnson took first place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.23. Reva Bork took second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:58.64 and Taylor Ostrowski followed with a time of 11:01.25 to earn third. Lindsey Phelps earned a second place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.23.
The Panthers return to the pool on Saturday October 27th when they host South Dakota at 1:00 p.m. in the Glen F.Henry pool.
