UNI Drops Valley Opener at Creighton

Creighton scored in the 67th minute when Brittney Neumann found Shonna Fraser for the goal.
UNI was out shot in the game 12-7 and trailed in corner kicks, 6-3. Creighton and UNI were knotted in shots on goal at five a piece.
Junior Ashley Capone led the Panther offensive attack tallying three shots with two shots on goal. Freshmen Caitlyn Fuller, sophomore Claire Clark, senior Missy Journot, and junior Melissa Hagan each tallied a shot for UNI with Journot, Hagan, and Clark's shots coming on goal. .
Junior goalkeeper Erin Zaideman recorded four saves for the Panthers in the match.
UNI (3-6-2, 0-1-0 MVC) will host St. Ambrose University on Mon., Sept. 26 at the Cedar Valley Youth Soccer Complex. Kick off is set for 7:00 p.m.
