UNI Wins Home Match Against Green Bay

The Panthers did not take long to find the back of the net. Junior Ashley Capone found junior Kiki McClellan in the 4th minute of the match to give the Panthers the lead for good.
The goal was McClellan's first score of the season. It marked the fourth time the Panthers have scored in the first six minutes of a match.
McClellan led the offensive attack all afternoon, tallying four shots with three on goal, including the Panther's only score.
Sophomore goalkeeper Erin Zaideman earned the starting nod and recorded five saves in the match.
Green Bay outshot the Panthers 13-8 in the match, but shots on goal was an even 5-5. UNI held the advantage in corner kicks 4-1.
UNI (3-4-1) will travel to Iowa City on Weds. Sept. 14 to face off with the Iowa Hawkeyes at 7:00 p.m. The Panthers next home match will come on Sept. 18th when they host South Dakota State at 1:00 p.m.
