Women's Basketball Camp Dates Set For Summer

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball team will offer several camps for teams and individuals this summer.

The Panthers will host an advanced skills camp on June 20, open to girls in grades 9-12. This one-day camp will challenge each camper who wants to compete at the next level through advanced drills and elite competition.

UNI will hold a skills development camp for students finishing first through eighth grades from June 21-23. The camp will focus on the introduction and development of offensive and defensive individual skills.

The one-day Team Shoot-Out will be held on June 27, and it will provide freshman, JV and Varsity teams a chance to play in four games. The Panthers' team camps will be held July 28-29 and July 30-31. Both camps are open to Sophomore/Freshman, JV and Varsity teams, and each team will play seven games over the two days.

All camps are held in the air-conditioned Wellness and Recreation Center and the McLeod Center, and former and current UNI players and coaches will serve as instructors for the individual camps.
