K.K. Armstrong led UNI (13-5, 6-1 MVC) with 13 points, and she also dished our four assists. Katelin Oney and Rachel Madrigal each scored 12 points, and Amber Kirschbaum notched her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jacqui Kalin finished with eight points, eight rebounds and five assists for UNI.
Briyana Blair led the Purple Aces (7-10, 2-4 MVC) with eight points.
The Panthers held
UNI carried the run over into the second half, scoring the first eight points of the second period to extend its lead to 39-15 with 16:19 remaining.
The Panthers led by at least 21 points the rest of the way, and UNI led by as many as 34 points in the victory.
UNI shot 25-of-60 (41.7 percent) from the floor, including 6-of-19 (31.6 percent) from three-point range. The Panthers finished 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) from the free-throw line.
