
Panthers Fall To Iowa State, 147-89

AMES, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team fell to Iowa State University, 147-89. Stephanie Frederick was the only top-spot finisher for the Panthers.
Frederick took first in the 50 freestyle. She finished with a time of 24.76, which is a season-best time for her.
Chelsea Hartman took second in the 1,000 freestyle. She clocked in with a time of 10:41.06. Hartman, with a time of 5:16.93, took third in the 500 freestyle. Both times were season-best times for Hartman.
MVC diver of the week, Bethany Olson finished in second place in the 3-meter dive. She finished with 264.83 points, less than a point away from the first place finisher.
Caryn Knight took third in the 200 freestyle. She finished with a time of 2:00.82.
The Panthers next action will come Sat., Nov. 13 against Northern Colorado and South Dakota State. There will be two meets, with the first starting at 8 a.m. The meets will take place in the Glen F. Henry Swimming and Diving Pool.
