UNI Handles North Dakota in Home Opener

The UNI Panthers women's tennis team defeated the North Dakota Fighting Sioux 7-0 in their first match at the Black Hawk Tennis Club on Friday. The Panthers were victorious in every singles and doubles match and set of the day.
In doubles action, UNI set the pace for the remainder of the match. The No. 1 doubles duo of Sampada Kanade and Sampada Kanade, competing at the No. 2 spot, topped Katie Callison 6-1, 6-3. In No. 3 singles, freshman Sampada Kanade (UNI) def. Katie Callison (UND) (6-1, 6-3)
