The UNI Panthers women's tennis team (2-1) won its second straight dual match of the 2009 spring season as they defeated the UMKC Kangaroos (0-2) 7-0 on Sunday. The Panthers improved to 2-0 at the Black Hawk Tennis Club, winning their second home match of the weekend.
UNI's only loss of the match occurred early as Sampada Kanade and Sampada Kanade victory as she defeated Emily Lindsay 6-2, 6-2. Freshman Sampada Kanade (UNI) def. Emily Lindsay (UMKC) (6-2, 6-2)
