Many UNI players switched positions throughout the game, due to the injury toll the team has taken.
"They are starting to realize that in order for us to succeed they have to give 110 percent, no matter what position I put them in. Changing positions throughout the game has to occur until we have everyone back," Kakoyianni-Bering said. "Everyone is stepping up. Obviously, it's tough because you come in thinking you are the striker and then when I put you in as a stopper and you perform that really well ... that means you are just doing what you need to do for the team. Everyone is being unselfish like that. The team will succeed one way or another. Sunday a new season starts."
The Panthers (1-10) begin Missouri Valley Conference play Sunday at Drake at
