
Tennis Team Shows No Sign Of Slowing Down

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -
The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team defeated the visiting Chicago State Cougars 7-0 this afternoon, improving their overall record to a scorching 5-0.
Last season, the Panthers began the season 2-3, en route to a 7-12 finish. Last season, the Panthers defeated the Cougars 5-2 at home.
In singles, out of 61 sets played, the Panthers have only lost one.
The Panthers have two home meets next weekend in Cedar Falls. On Friday (Feb. 25) the Panthers host Western Illinois at 1 p.m., then on Sunday (Feb. 27) they host Southeast Missouri State at 10 a.m.
Both matchers were won by the Panthers 7-0 last season.
