Shanda Davis joined the UNI Athletics Academic Advising staff in July 2023 after serving in the university's Office of the Registrar.
"I am excited to work with our student-athletes and look forward to assisting them with their personal, academic, and professional goals," said Davis. "I am passionate about helping others reach their fullest potential."

Davis assists Panther student-athletes in academic and NCAA eligibility matters. She previously worked on the UNI campus in the Office of the Registrar as a Clerk IV, helping plan and execute the university's bi-annual commencement ceremonies and graduation fairs in addition to diploma processing and event scheduling. Davis worked one-on-one with student employees and served as their supervisor during her last year in the position.
"We are so excited to have Shanda on our Office of Student-Athlete Development staff," said Andrea Greve-Coelle, UNI's Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development & Inclusion. "Shanda has a passion for UNI and is ready to dive in and help our student-athletes. She is a great addition to our team!"

A two-time UNI graduate, Davis earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in health promotion and education in 2019, and later a Master's of Arts degree in postsecondary education: student affairs in 2023.

Both her and her partner, Aaron reside in Cedar Falls with their daughter, Elliot and two dogs, Benji and Fly.
