Marissa Reichard joined the UNI Athletics academic advising staff in May 2024. In her role, she assists Panther student-athletes in academic and NCAA eligibility matters.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Marissa back to UNI and are fortunate to have her join our team,” said Andrea Greve-Coello, Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development. “She brings valuable experience working with student-athletes and a genuine love for the Panthers!”
A 2022 UNI graduate, Reichard returns to Cedar Falls after previously serving as a Graduate Assistant for Academics and Life Skills at Illinois State University, where she managed a caseload of 25 football student-athletes, providing daily one-on-one support and guidance in academics.
During her time in central Illinois, Reichard also assisted in the planning and execution of Illinois State’s on-campus student activities, helped manage student conduct and disciplinary hearings alongside the university’s hearing panel and also assisted in academic affairs just down the road at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington.
Reichard received her bachelor’s degree in family services from UNI in the spring of 2022, where she notably spent four seasons as a manager on the Panther women’s basketball team. In May 2024, she completed a master’s degree college student personnel administration from Illinois State.
