Tyler Graff joined the UNI staff in 2022 for his first year as a volunteer assistant coach.

Graff enjoyed a successful playing career for the Utah Valley University men’s club program (2009-12) that included a Mountain West Conference championship and several All-Tournament selections as a defensive specialist. Afterward, he started his coaching journey as a GMS clinician and in the club circuit as a head coach and later as director of sport operations for Salt Lake Volleyball (2011-2016).

Graff was most recently an assistant professor of psychology at Wartburg College and served as faculty liaison to the volleyball team. He received his PhD from Brigham Young University in 2021, and he graduated magna cum laude from Utah Valley University (2012). He and his wife, Delaina, have two children named Max and Quinn.
