Former Panther standout Macy Ubben returned UNI volleyball as a volunteer assistant starting in the 2017 season. After graduating from UNI, Ubben traveled to Europe and Asia to compete professionally.
The Ackley, Iowa, native was named to the second team CoSIDA Academic All-America squad as a senior in 2013 and also earned honorable mention All-AVCA Midwest Region honors that same year. She was a two-time First Team All-MVC pick. She was named to the 2013 MVC All-Tournament Team and selected as the MVC Defensive Player of the Year.
