2016-17: Captured the No. 3 Singles title at the 2016 MVC Individual Championships ... she is only the second UNI singles' player in program history to capture a singles' title at the MVC meet (Carrie Amsbaugh won the No. 5 singles crown at the 2001 MVC Individual Championships).
2015-16:Â Recorded eight singles wins and eight doubles wins ... did not participate in the fall season after recovering from knee surgery ... notched eight singles wins at No. 3 singles in dual play ... secured seven of her doubles victories at No. 2 doubles.
2014-15: Ranked fourth on the team in singles wins (18-13 overall) ... posted a mark of 13-5 at No. 4 singles in the dual season ... went 5-2 in MVC singles matches ... ranked third on the team in doubles wins (20-13 overall) ... recorded an 11-6 record in doubles dual action ... went 10-3 at No. 2 doubles with Jieke Stroobant.
2013-14: Led the Panthers in singles wins (24) after posting a mark of 24-9 as a freshman ... tallied a 16-4 mark at No. 4 singles ... won 10 consecutive singles matches from Feb. 7-March 28 ... Santos went 16-6 in singles dual action ... went 17-9 in doubles play ... notched a 16-7 doubles mark with teammate Elvira Lopez at No. 2 doubles in dual action ... had a stretch where she and Lopez won 11 of 12 doubles matches from Jan. 31-March 30.
High School: Santos was a top-10 singles player in El Salvador ... chose UNI because “it will offer me good academic opportunities and a chance to become a better athlete."
Personal: Daughter of Dita Jackelyn Santos Umanzor ... majoring in communication/electronic media leadership.
