HIGH SCHOOL: Wharton was a member of Bellevue West High School's varsity team and was a starter all 4 years of high school... Wharton led her team in three categories for 2 years in a row, points (18.4 and 14.8), steals (3.1 and 2.3), and assists (3.7 and 2.1)... Wharton was named to the Class A All-State, the All-Metro first team, and the Super State second team in 2021... Wharton also excelled in the classroom where she had a 4.3 GPA and was named to the Academic All-State team on 3 separate occasions.
PERSONAL: Wharton is the daughter of Troy and Tamara Wharton and has a little sister, Taylee.
