Noah Castle

Noah Castle joined UNI Athletics in September 2021 as a track and field assistant coach to work with throw events.
Castle comes from Eastern Illinois where he has served the Panthers throws coach since September 2019. He coached student-athletes who achieved eight top-10 marks and broke three school records during his time at EIU.
Castle coached Makenna Wilson to two OVC championships in the shot put and a 13th-place finish in the hammer throw at the NCAA West Preliminary Round in 2021. He also coached 2021 NCAA West Regional qualifier Nick Phillips in the hammer throw. Castle also helped the EIU Panthers capture OVC Championships as a team in 2020 and 2021.
Castle is a 2019 graduate of the University of Kentucky where he was a two-time all-American in the shot put and discus, and a two-time SEC medalist in the discus. He was a five-time NCAA qualifier.
He is a native of Wauseon, Ohio.
