2017: Named a CoSIDA Academic All-American, claiming second team honors... Earned All-MVFC Honorable Mention... Played in 10 games for UNI, making seven starts for the Panthers in the backfield... Recorded four games over 100 yards rushing for UNI, all coming in the second half of the season... Also had three multi-touchdown games for the Panthers in 2017... Ran the ball 200 times, earning 809 yards rushing and eight scores... Also caught 11 passes for 100 yards... Ran a FCS-high 42 times in his appearance in the Panther backfield of 2017, earning 170 yards rushing and scoring twice for UNI to down No. 7 South Dakota State on the road (10/14)... Gained 132 yards and scored twice for UNI against Youngstown State (10/21)... Recorded 131 yards on the ground against Missouri State (11/11), while also adding a rushing touchdown... Scored two touchdowns and rushed for 105 yards in the regular-season finale against Indiana State (11/18).
2016: Saw action in nine games at wide receiver and in the wildcat ... finished the season with 327 all-purpose yards (237 rush, 24 receiving, nine passing, 66 punt return) ... had three punt returns for a career-high 45 yards, including a career-long 27 yard return against #8 Eastern Washington (9/17) ... had two catches for 24 yards against Missouri State (10/22) ... had a breakout game against Indiana State (11/5), playing primarily in the wildcat ... rushed for a career-high 171 yards, including a career-long 57-yard run ... also had one pass completion for nine yards against Indiana State ... had nine carries for 35 yards against #17 Western Illinois (11/12) ... also carried the ball seven times for 39 yards against #8 South Dakota State (11/19).
2015: Saw action in all 14 games at wide receiver and on special teams, earning the starting nod in two games … had four receptions for 64 yards, averaging 16.0 yards per catch … also racked up 40 yards on punt returns and 32 on kickoff returns … had a catch for 24 yards in UNI’s win over #17 Cal Poly (9/19) … also had a reception for 21 yards against #4 Illinois State (10/3) … had 29 kickoff return yards against Cal Poly along with a season-long punt return for 27 yards … finished the year with nine tackles, including six solo while on special teams.
2014: Redshirted.
High School: Played football at Waukon High School … was the starting running back and strong safety … earned first team All-State running back, Gazette All-Area and first team All-District as a senior … third team All-State and first team All-District as a junior and first team All-District as a sophomore … was a team captain in 2013 and 2012 … finished as Waukon’s leading rusher with 3,492 rushing yards and was the school’s leading scorer with 374 points … also lettered in track and field, basketball and wrestling.
Personal: Son of Dave and Laure Weymiller … ranked first in his class, earning academic All-District during his junior and senior years … was also a part of the Honor Roll all four years … majoring in political science and public administration at UNI, while minoring in law and politics.
