2017: Played in all 13 games for UNI, starting every game at outside linebacker... earned the second-most tackles on the year after collecting 94 on the year... ranked sixth overall in the Missouri Valley Football Conference for total tackles... also earned one sack and an interception on the year... opened the season with an interception against Iowa State (9/2), while making nine tackles... collected a career-high 15 tackles against Cal Poly (9/9), with eight being assists... earned nine tackles with one sack against Youngstown State (10/21)... earned another double-digit tackling effort, with 13 against South Dakota (11/4)... collected 12 tackles against South Dakota State (12/2), with six being solos.
2016: Saw action in all 11 games, starting nine at linebacker ... was fourth on the team in tackles with 60, including three interceptions and a pair of pick-sixes for scores ... recorded nine tackles and a pass breakup against #8 Eastern Washington (9/17) ... had four tackles, a forced fumble and an interception in UNI's win over Southern Illinois (10/1) ... notched 10 tackles at South Dakota (10/8) ... returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown against Youngstown State (10/15) ... scored a pick-six against Missouri State (10/22) ... finished with 11 tackles in UNI's win at #18 Western Illinois (11/12) ... wrapped up the season with a career-high 12 tackles against #8 South Dakota State (11/19).
2015: Played in 13 games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams … recorded 13 tackles, including 10 solo and one for a loss of two yards … had a career-high four tackles, including one for loss in UNI’s win over #24 Eastern Illinois (11/28) … added three solo tackles against #2 North Dakota State (12/12) in the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs.

High School: Played football at West Marshall High School for Ken Winkler … was a four-time All-District selection and was named District Offensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior … was a two time first team All-State and Elite All-State running back … racked up 4,274 yards and 70 touchdowns during his junior and senior seasons … was a four-year starter and a team captain … also lettered in basketball and track and field as a four-year state meet qualifier.
Personal: Son of Randy and Tracy Ferch … has two siblings, Dalton and Drake … was an Honor Roll student all four years and was a member of the National Honor Society … majoring in history.
