Bryce Jones comes to UNI after a pair of seasons at Penn State where he worked as an assistant cornerbacks coach. Â Before Penn State, Jones was an assistant defensive backs coach at the University of St. Mary from 2021-22 after a season as the cornerbacks coach at Johnson C. Smith University in 2020.
Before his coaching career began, Jones spent time in the NFL, AAF, and XFL as a member of the Houston Texans (2017-18), the San Antonio Commanders (2018-19), and the New York Guardians (2019-20).
In his collegiate playing career, he started at Boston College before transferring to the University of Akron for his final season. Â Jones also ran track for the Zips.
