Bryce Jones comes to UNI after a pair of seasons at Penn State where he worked as an assistant cornerbacks coach. Before Penn State, Jones was an assistant defensive backs coach at the University of St. Mary from 2021-22 after a season as the cornerbacks coach at Johnson C. Smith University in 2020.
Before his coaching career began, Jones spent time in the NFL, AAF, and XFL as a member of the Houston Texans (2017-18), the San Antonio Commanders (2018-19), and the New York Guardians (2019-20).
In his collegiate playing career, he started at Boston College before transferring to the University of Akron for his final season. Jones also ran track for the Zips.
