HIGH SCHOOL: Nate Heise is a 6'4 guard from Lincoln High School in Lake City, Minnesota. Under the direction of Head Coach Greg Berge, Heise led the Tigers to two state tournaments. Heise averaged 22 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assist per game during his junior campaign, earning Hiawathe Valley League Player of the Year honors while also being named to the 2018-19 All-State and All-Tournament Teams. As a senior Heise led the Tigers to a Conference championship while averaging 29 points per game, 7 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game. Heise was named the Hiawatha League Player of the Year for the second time and finished his career with a school record 2307 points.
PERSONAL: Nate is the son of Tony and Amy Heise, both former basketball players at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. His sister, Taylor, played ice hockey at the University of Minnesota, is a member of the U.S. women's national team and was the first pick in the 2023 PWHL Draft by Minnesota ... Brother, Ryan, plays basketball at Upper Iowa ... Majoring in Supply Chain Management.
