HIGH SCHOOL: Wolf was a multi-year, multi-sport letterwinner at Cedar Falls High School between basketball and football. He played two active seasons under coach Ryan Schultz and totaled 662 points, 217 rebounds, 83 assists, 50 steals, and 19 blocks while reaching the Class 4A semifinals in each year (third place as a junior in 2019-20). He shot 47.5% overall (231-of-486), 45.3% from behind the arc (132-of-291), and 89.4% from the charity stripe (68-of-76). As a senior team captain, Wolf was a 2020-21 McDonald’s All-America nominee, IPSWA Class 4A First Team All-State, Des Moines Register Class 4A First Team All-State, and a Pizza Ranch IBCA All-State Game All-Tournament Team selection. He was also the Pizza Ranch IBCA All-State Game Three-Point Champion. Wolf ranked fifth in the entire state with a class-high 77 three-pointers made in 2020-21 and averaged 16.9 points per game for the season. As a junior, he earned Class 4A All-Tournament Team, IBCA All-Substate Team, and IPSWA Class 4A Third Team All-State recognition and finished third in Class 4A in free throw percentage (91.4%, 32-of-35). The Tigers won the state championship during his sophomore year in 2018-19. He also saw action at quarterback in two seasons of football. Wolf signed with UNI over recruiting interest from Toledo, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Davidson, and Milwaukee.
PERSONAL: Landon is a son of Paul Wolf (former UNI linebacker, team captain in 1994) and Stacey Wolf and a brother of current UNI football wide receiver Logan Wolf (member of UNI men’s basketball team in previous two seasons as well) and Leyton Wolf. He is also a cousin of UNI women’s basketball center Cynthia Wolf ... Majoring in Management: Business Administration.
