Panther cross country releases 2026 meet schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI cross country team on Friday unveiled its meet schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.

Entering the fourth full season under head coach Alex Teubel, the Panthers will open the 2026 campaign on Sept. 4 at Iowa's Hawkeye Invite before heading south to Columbia for the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 25, hosted by the University of Missouri.

October begins for the Panthers with a short trip up to Waverly for Wartburg's Dan Hutson Invite on Oct. 3, followed by a mid-month visit to Peoria for the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 16.

The 2026 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championships head to Des Moines on Oct. 30, hosted by Drake University. In-state postseason action continues on Nov. 14 as UNI visits Ames for the NCAA Midwest Regionals, hosted by Iowa State. Qualified athletes will then compete at the NCAA Championships on Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Official meet start times will be posted at a later date.

Nov. 14 - NCAA Midwest Regionals (Ames, Iowa / ISU Cross Country Course)
Nov. 21- NCAA Championships (Terre Haute, Ind. / LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course)
